When it comes to graphic design and typesetting, many of our clients work with InDesign, Illustrator or QuarkXPress, but many of them use CorelDRAW, which is not well supported by traditional translation memory systems.
Using our unique app for CorelDRAW, users can achieve all the benefits of translation memory via an “interchange format” approach equivalent to Adobe InDesign’s INX/IDML workflow.
This removes any need for time-consuming and error-prone copy and paste, freeing up more time for translation and typesetting.
The functionality appears under a separate menu item within the CorelDRAW interface, meaning that the functionality is just a click away.
Features include:
- Batch-export and import multiple files together, to save hours which would otherwise be spent copying and pasting
- Supports .cdr, .cdt, .cdx and any other formats which can be opened in CorelDRAW
- Automatically handles the different formatting used by Artistic Text and Paragraph Text, as well as CorelDRAW-specific non-printing characters
- Automatically generates PDFs which can act as reference for translators
